The process of purchasing a property can vary depending on the chosen jurisdiction, but in all cases I will guide you from the beginning until the end. The end of a property purchase case is not only to pay the price and receive the keys and the property’s deeds, it goes far beyond. It includes setting up all your property’s services (water, electricity, condo fees, taxes, etc.).

The process takes more time to completely finalize.

How do you charge for your services?

Having a different way to practice law, more personal, more direct and with less infrastructure, we can provide the best possible advice and guidance at reduced and competitive prices.

The more expensive the property, the lower our fee will be in terms of proportion with the price.

Our fee is paid half when we are retained, which is usually after a basic legal due diligence is done and a reservation contract is signed, and the other half when the property is purchased and the deeds of sale executed.

How long does the typical property transaction take in Spain?

This item depends on the location of the property, the type of property, the availability of technicians, and the need of finances of the purchaser. I would say that the process can go from 2-3 weeks in case that the technical report is swiftly produced and there are no major charges on the property nor planning circumstances that might require checking at a Town Hall that is accessible (i.e. Benahavis) from 45–60 days or even more if the property requires investigation at the Town Hall of a municipality that is slow to give appointments to technicians (i.e. Sant Josep sa Talaia in Ibiza) or if a Town Hall planning certificate is required.
